Water related activities…

Whatever your interest, be it canoeing on the Save, fishing, taking a dip in the pool, you’ll find it in the Savès.

Want to cool down? Lombez and Samatan both have outdoors pool facilities: four pools - one 25 m pool with 5 swimming lanes – a main pool and 2 children pools - something for everyone!

But if you prefer to fully enjoy nature, treat yourself to a canoe trip on the banks of Save and the Gesse starting from Sabaillan.

Don’t forget to take a trip to the Samatan lake (8.6 ha- 21.2 acres) with its fitness circuit, sandy beach, beach volleyball and beach-tennis court. You’ll also find a play area, a mountain bike track, free mini-golf, picnic areas and fishing spots.

In this regard, Samatan has been classified as “Station Pêche” meaning it offers a different fishing experience for everyone – big or small. The “No Kill” lake is reserved for carnivorous fishing and has spots classified as “Tourisme et Handicap” which allows people with disabilities to fish.

The Save is a 2nd category river (A second category river is a French river where the dominant biological species consists mainly of white fish, cyprinids (thus cyprinicolous river) and predatory fish: pike, zander and perch).
